Christmas is coming!

It may be only the beginning of September, but our reservations for the festive period are filling fast, with Christmas Day lunch fully booked way back in February.  This year we are offering a number of menus, for lunchtimes throughout December, evenings, Sunday lunch and of course, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Thank you for a great Christmas 2017. We have made public on our website and other media our short post-Christmas break, but would like to reiterate that we will re-open for the evening service of Saturday January 6th 2018.

I personally wanted to say thank you to everyone for their best wishes, cards and support following my health scare.  I am pleased to say that I am feeling very well again and enjoying being back in the kitchen particularly during the festive season.  Once again, thank you!

After a very brief closure due to illness , we are delighted to announce that it is once again business as usual, in good time for a festive season which looks like being our busiest on record!

Are you a Sous Chef with Ambition?

As we head towards one of the busiest times of the year at The Cherry House, we are recruiting for a Sous Chef.
However, the position will hopefully be just a stepping stone for the right chef; we envisage them becoming a key member of the small team at our restaurant with a proud history in Werrington Village, in time becoming Head Chef.
